Cutting taxes produces more revenue everybody knows that,

Just look at tax revenue in the last 50 years tax rate going down revenue going up ,economics 101

  7. Are you seriously surprised that in 50 years the amount of revenue in dollars has gone up??

Wait...are you going to tell me that the price of gum and a house has stayed the same in 50 years?

Have salaries stayed the same in 50 years?

Is the tax paying population the same as it was 50 years ago?

You sure you even took economics 101 haha

Cutting taxes does not automatically produce more tax revenue it often leads to a net loss of revenue:

At current tax rates, the direct revenue loss from cutting tax rates almost always exceeds the indirect gain from increased activity or reduced tax avoidance. Cutting tax rates can, however, partly pay for itself. How much depends on how people respond to tax changes.

Cutting tax rates thus almost never pays for itself in full.

It is just what politicians say to get votes.

  10. It is an act to set up a committee to look into this issue and report back in a year...

Basically the polticial approach to waving your hands and make it look like you are doing something.
