You mean, the better off California will be. It's one of the wealthiest states, with most innovation and a diverse culture, inhabitants are on average healther than most in the rest of the country. Income levels are also among the highest. What's not to like other than political views that might be different.

Because I took an assignment and lived in Moscow for several years. No, I am not Russian by birth. Your negative and prejudicial view of Russian is crap, if I may say so. The culture has a rich history, great literature and the people can be deeply emotional and feeling. You are way off mark with equating the government to all of Russia.
