I think whatever rain you're not getting in your area, we've definitely got here in Florida. Ever since the last hurricane, the water levels just keep rising and rising, even though we haven't had a drop of rain since hurricane Milton. Check out my neighbor's boat dock. Not only is the walkway itself buried, but the water level is all the way up to the rope handrails. And for whatever reasons I can't explain, every day since that hurricane, the water level keeps getting higher every day. If I were to take a pic today, all the ropes are now below the water line.

California growers used to say that it's all BS (climate catastrophe), that we'd have desalination (lol), or that they would prioritize growers?! F*** your almonds.

Should we short the REIT or some kind of ETF on agriculture lands in California?

  8. You should short yourself. This isn’t some new revelation.

So maybe we should grow almonds in places where there are lots of water like Venice?

Needs to be pretty hot. We had them in the garden on holidays in the south of France and of course a Spain is a major grower.
