    Hi

Any tip on how I could find out my total yearly returns percentage wise, inclduing open positions for the whole year - it got a bit difficult because I used 4 different accounts, none of which has been running the whole year, and forex Pnl doesn't show when I check IB mtm statements. I also wired money in and out of the accounts during this period.

Thanks for all constructive advice !

Look up Money weight returns and time weighted returns. Use whichever method makes sense for your situation.

If I remember from my CFA (haha but seriously), one of them is better based on the outflows and inflows (and whether you have control over them and their sizes).

There is no right answer for this, which is annoying.
