  4. No matter where the economy is at the lower class and middle class is going to suffer to some extent. But make the argument regarding who is suffering. TO say the economy is bad is absolutely wrong is a poor generalized statement easily disputed by facts.. People making min wage or low income are not going to be lifted by this economy anyway unless they make a shift to higher paying levels. That is true since the dawn of time. If bread goes up in price and eggs then a fmaily of four with the man working as a janitor in an inner city school and the woman as a maid are going to keep suffering. And no law passed by Congress or president is going to change their situation at all. Biden/trump cannot lower their rents or increase their salaries. Wage growth does not happen at the bottom tiers in any measurably way.

To get on a high horse and claim it is because of Biden or trump is beyond ignorant but that is how the media plays it.. so for any of your friends suffering.....a new prez will not change anything UNLESS a government simply increases handouts. I dont think the GOP is big on social programs are they...

As for Covid what is trump's fault is his response, not the event. The economy tanking happened all over the world, the surge in prices happened all over the world. This was unavoidable if people know economics. But dont say that in this country because the hacks will argue opinion over facts.

  5. Look every president we can look at puts one time rivals in the Cabinet.... Obama put Hillary for example, Biden put Butti, trump put Carson, etc.... When these people drop out they throw their support for the leading vote getter because they want their party to win and then they get a job in the Administration. So it is not a shock...

What is bad is when the rival really hated the person or claims they are the worst thing and then suddenly is amazingly qualified for a job... Rubio and trump said some honest things about each other and then all is forgiven? you really can't have integrity and values in politics....

There is nothing wrong with a President appointing their one time rivals to Cabinet positions. This has been done throughout U.S. history. The primary point is that the appointees should be appropriately experienced and qualified for the position.

There does not appear to be anything wrong with Burgum as a pick -- certainly he will support some right-wing policiies I don't agree with -- but currently there is nothing indicating he is a poor fit. We will see what the confirmation hearings bring out.

On the other hand, Kennedy and Gaetz are completely unqualified for their proposed appointments and having them in these positions simply because they are loyalists will be detriment to the U.S. It is unlikely the Senate will confirm Gaetz with nearly 30 GOP Senators already speaking out against him. Kennedy is likely in a similar position of at least 4 GOP Senators voting against confirmation. This means that Trump will likely pursue recess appointments -- or preferably find other qualified candidates who are not nutcases.

Pretty sure the Constitution doesn't have "shadow government" as an option, but those lefties want to shred it anyway so WTF.

    Idiots. The lot of them.
