Career government service workers having economic and effective business practices situational awareness? LOL What was the number one voter issue again? Economy, you say? You're God damn right. How did the polls compare Trump and Kamala on the economic issue? Trump led, you say? Congratulations, you're two for two.
People underestimate there economic advantages peasants reaped after the black plague killed one-third of Europe. It literally ended serfdom. https://www.vet.k-state.edu/about/n...hanged the, food chain across societal classes.
What is your measure of the economy? because most of you just mimic what Fox news tells you about the economy but the stats tell a different story... the kind of story you would be scremaing praise for trump if he had these numbers. Which proves average Americans know very little about economics because it is not a required subject at all. And you all allow shallow political bias to cloud the fact presidents in the U.S. do not contribute or take away from an economy but take all the credit and blame. Nothing in the numbers below is because of Biden or trump but it makes many of you sleep better at night. Based on recent data the economy is just fine given the immense global shock of a COVID shutdown and unprecendent COVID boom leading to some pretty strong global inflation. But many of you here simply care about what the media tells you to think instead of doing some actual research. Alas the dumber Americans get, the mroe vapid and empty the Dem and Gop candidates get until we arrive here. Don't be a sheep...polls are based on asking people what they think about issues the biased media educated them on. Sad. ANnual growth rate of GDP pretty much in line with historical numbers after COVID craziness: Stock market at all time highs Real wage growth finally outpacing inflation which has come down: Hmmm conumer confidence is pretty good lately despite the cries of GOP that the sky is falling unless they vote in trump...
Given how rich you are, do you really feel food product downsizing and price increases like someone living close to paycheck to paycheck or worse? How about politicians and high pay newscasters? Your last chart may explain many voter's perception the economy have been in decline since late 2021, at least relatively. Consumer confidence declined 20 plus points from late 2021 to recently. Wages, overtime, and or other incentives were crazy high for many as pent up consumer demand and low inventories drove a manufacturing and related industry boom. While personally, I feel the economy is going fine, many I know in trucking have been complaining quite some time about rates. So it seems, relatively speaking, people feel the economy is not what it was. A bit unfair, to be sure, for the Biden Administration. Perhaps in a way similar to Covid-19 being unfair for the Trump Administration. As far as stocks being at all time highs, who the hell you know owns stocks? Oh, wait... Perhaps there is a large enough segment of the working class and certain others that stock ownership, if any, does not make a big impact on how financially well off they feel. But nice talk we are having. After the fact. After the election, that is.
Who's the idiot? You need to slow down and read more carefully. Did I mention anyone's names? No. I was addressing another member's post that contained a headline reading "Trump is staffing up his White House with loyalists." My post:--> they all do that. So for christsake... lighten up Dude. You take this place way too serious. And why is that? I mean tbh... it's weird.
