Just bought our first BYND burgers. Lots of packaging, the kind of thing that shows up in the back of consumer reports. Plastic tray, plastic wrap, cardboard cover Only 8 oz total, on sale for 4.99 Odor while cooking was not palatable. Ingredient list not easy to understand. Young male cashier had never tasted one. I didn’t like it either. The impossible burger that I had from Burger King tasted better. I’ve only had one of each to taste and don’t think I’d be eating them ever again. Sell for sure.
I like the vegiFi burger from burger fi or any black bean , quinoa based patty that was recently hand made. Like many restaurants offer nowadays. Patties made in a lab to mimic meat you can keep.
There seems to be two type of plant based veggie burger lovers...Those who want the burger to mimic meat,and the others who are more "organic" and prefer the type of burger you like...The big money is obviously in the mimic meat type,but your health is probably best served with grain/bean/veg type patties
I missed this one. Quick reply here. Beyond gets the best ratings of veggie burgers in every review I see online. And that is saying something, because as a carnivore myself, I have tried the Morningstars, and they are not bad (But Boca burgers are just nasty). And the Morningstars rate TERRIBLE in reviews in comparison to Beyond. Beyond's second offering tanked the stock? I don't know the mechanism for that, I am guessing that is like a stock split, in a way? Take it north for a couple of years until the beef industry can get through their ID crap and align themselves with reality. They are all clustering overthere.
And I totally appreciate that view man. That's my view on Tesla, because I don't think EV can work, ever, until we start seeing alarms on crude supplies. But this veggie food shit is so quick and in-yer-face right NOW. If Beyond has good management practices, does not spend too much, does their books properly, doesn't suffer any corporate malfeasance, they and their stock could do well. May Brahma save the cow.
