    Btw, anyone can earn close to 5% on cash simply by purchasing treasury securities. They are 95% marginable. Just a little fyi for ya.

  6. i wanted to thank you guy's for some compelling entertainment. since we are all venting our first names....i am frank, from connecticut and i trade future options (thus using span margin) covered very nicely imo. i feel so much better now.

    The ability of trading over haircut is one benefit of trading prop when compared to pm or span. I just opened an account with IB so I can give a better comparison with span in the future.

    Trading full time with 5 accounts is a nightmare. I will consolidate my accounts after I fully evaluated the benefit of prop, pm and span.
