The key point you make is sAying they didn’t play their cards right.

Trump intimidated the witnesses, obstructed the evidence and got away with it with Russian style authoritarianism.

If you don’t bend he will use his mob to break you.

I’ve always said Trump will break the DOJ or the DOJ will break him. Trump has won. The law and the constitution do not apply to him and he uses it to corruptly punish his political opponents.

The American presidency has changed. The norms and rules do not apply to Trump. And you like that so you stick your head in the sand and say things like trump is draining the swamp even though he is the swamp. He simply is the worst person morally, ethically, and legally.

I watch grown men prostrate themselves online to emulate the sycophants they see on television. Memes of portraying Trump on a tank or as Superman and I just find it sickening how much you can demasculate yourselves for a cult of personality.

Have some self respect for Pete’s sake.

Sondland is Trump’s creature. He paid for his spot. He was an ass kissing sycophant just like most of you Trump supporters on this forum.

Yes, continue to demonize half of the country.

Maybe you can shame them into becoming rabid socialists who seek to destroy their own prosperity.

Or maybe they will become an avalanche of Republican voters in November.

It is too soon to know for sure, but I am guessing he didn't get away with it. We'll know for sure by November. In the meantime, I'll fasten my seatbelt, it is going to be a bumpy ride. Trumps scorched earth policy lives little between his re-election and prison. My guess is the latter. He has gone all in, that's for sure. He better be holding a Royal Flush or he's history. This is not his first visit to the brink. Last time he survived by the skin of his teeth. Probably twice in a lifetime is not going to happen.

I’m sorry but can you explain what you mean by destroy their own prosperity?

Whether employment or wages or gdp or any other metric I see we have not broken the trend line from the Obama years. The only thing that has changed is the perception of right wingers of the economy. 2A4C49EE-7E42-4CA9-B09F-9035B4C73A45.png

As you see above democrats are relatively steady and actually in line with economic conditions. Republicans let their emotions dictate their perception.

And as too alienating half the country, I simply cannot respect grown men acting like groupies.

Trump's defense and the Senate argument was literally acknowledging that it happened, but "so what, it's not illegal when the president does it"

The assertion that our current economic conditions are a result of Obama policies is absurd.

This is a Trumpian economy. Domestic manufacturing is expanding. Trade policies are rebalancing trade deficits. Companies who hoarded cash during the Obama regime are hiring and making capital investments. Households are becoming wealthier. Black Americans are being employed at rates previously unseen.

    Meanwhile....

New York bans fracking and natural gas pipelines that would bring cheap natural gas into New York homes.

Virginia seeks to negate the Second Amendment to the Constitution.

California pursues policies that have resulted in an explosion of crime and homelessness. They squander vast amounts of capital on trains to nowhere while ignoring 3rd world conditions in their cities. They frame this as an example for the whole country.

Democrat candidates openly advocate to dissolve the Electoral College so that the country is ruled by a few leftist cities.

I could go on all day.

I’m sure you could go on all day considering you have not provided one single proven point of data.

Show us the data. Let me see it with my own eyes.
