if you can't form an opinion on stocks by using technical
indicators, then why does Worden sell his product to thousands of users? why do so many suckers spend hours every day looking at charts? all indicators lag the market, they don't predict, so how do you pick your winners?

I can't speak for everyone so I don't know. What I do know that I use his system for the historic data, download it once a year during the first week of January.

Because despite 500 channels there's still nothing on TV.

I use the technique supplied by Sir John Templeton. I am a fundamental cheapskate and I use the charts to tell me when to get in. This technique provided me with LU at 0.80 and ELN @ $3.00.

    Nice work.

By the way gentlemen figure 1-7 in Stan's book has a nice graphic on how these situations can end.

    Notice any similarities?

That's not a prediction just an observation.

  4. A special situation: Labopharm. DDSS.

Enough of these good companies, BYD, Texas Ind...
let's see how this technical stuff works on pure spec...

DDSS on the face of it do you buy the stock?...... run it through your indicators... Between this week and Dec 15th there will be a big pop in the stock...~ Stoney

Stoney, which of your indicators forcasts a big pop in DDSS?
moving average crossover predicts a rise, but the stock has leveled off for the past few days, showing sellers who lost in the early Oct. selloff getting out. relative strength to the s&p is not upward, and the general market has trended downward. the general economic news is not positive and i think we are facing an overdue correction down to or just below Dow 12,000. also, the stock is not optionable.

  6. Restan the best indicator of all gossip! I think this will be an interesting test of the technicals this week. Between now and the 15th some big Canadian holders are betting the Co. gets FDA go ahead finally for their pain pill. The bullish case as layed out by LEERINK SWANN: We derive our valuation by applying a 50% probability to valuations implied by our DCF methodology In a scenario where Tramadol OAD reaches the market in 3Q07 (re- analysis of existing data), we estimate 12-month valuation to be ~US$9.
    > Having held this stock in the past I know it's very comfortable in the high $7's when the sky is not falling in. This is a fairly high quality bioplay in the dumps the risk reward is very much tilted to reward now. After the news comes out it will gap into the $7's then that will be the first time most folks will get a stab at it taking DDSS fairly quickly to $9. So this week let's watch the chart and look for any volume accumulation we might want to piggyback on.....

  7. Shout Out To ISTOCK! What a POP today in BYD natural or did someone upgrade? I have no idea... typical 1 guy comes up with a great idea and several smarty pants types try and debunk it... but who's right in the long run? Stick to your guns and keep firing! ~ stoney

  8. Station casinos caught a buyout offer lifting sector (again) why do I think none of these buyouts are going to happen? And it's just CEO's threatening to take companies private to booste stock price?

Nice pop today. Not sure if the uptrend is sustainable though.

  10. istock remember when we were discussing TXI and I mentioned most would probably like the chart of EXP better? Well as of 3:30 Tuesday I'm in on Eagle Materials in a big way. If you can take the time-- run EXP through your system... it's up a $1 today!

    Thanks: stonedinvestor
