LOL! jack hershey makes another ambiougs non-call and people act like he has been ressurrected. FTR, I called the exact turn, projected price and time on 9/3/09 ...Link But none of this will do you anygood if you can't trade it, now will it?
I would say it's just as ambiguous a call as Jack's, because there's no entry referenced or buy in price. Looking at the ES you were at about 996 to 997 at the time you posted. Curiously 1017 was never hit, but 1015 was within about a point of upside left on the table.
Jack's a big boy. He doesn't need anybody to defend him. For those interested: look up the dictionary definitions for "anticipation" vs. "prediction". You drive a car based on anticipation, not prediction. Same applies to trading ...
You're well known MBS for the daring and accuracy of your calls. Care to share what the basis of the '1015' call was? FTR, the posts you refer to have nothing to do with what you are talking about, but that's beside the point. Of course the possibility exists that what you're mostly talking about is yet another incredibly boring ad hominem directed towards JH. If I might suggest that when you feel the need to spew, that you simply use a link (in a fashion like that which you used to direct an interested reader to your '1015' call) to any (or all) of the multitude of instances where you've expressed similar feelings (yes MBS, even members of H.A.R.M., like yourself, have feelings).
ROTF ... I would say you don't know anything (and virtually everyone on this Board and reading this thread would agree with me). If you don't know how to Buy when price is moving up, or Sell when price is moving down, that's on you, not me.
Couldn't agree with you more chartsy, on all points. Until MBS rolled in the discussion had been pretty well focussed on the merits and accuracy of JH's projection of future market direction.
I would be lying if I pretended I know what those acronyms mean. I think I only have that problem around Hershey followers.
It was pretty obvious that accumulation was taking place in the channel that formed after the preciptious drop on Tuesday, 9/1, simply because there was no follow-through on the sell-off and the market began showing strong signs of accumulation. Come on people, didn't you even learn the basics? Duh.
You do have to admit it was ambiguous. My father always tells me hindsight is 20/20. Whatever your reasons were for posting that link to your call, it is still ambiguous without an explanation of entry, moreso when it's days after the post was made, but at least we know your exit.
