I have a $50 bet with my buddy who says that leasing a brand new BMW x5 every 3 years cost the same as buying one used every 3 years. We agreed on comparing an used 3 year x5, ie 2009 vs 2006. He argues he's only paying depreciation. I say that monthly payments on older x5 will be lower.
