Buying treasury ETF does not reduce you buying power?

    I just bought some SHY and did not see any reduction of my day trading buying power. Is this normal? Has anyone noticed this?

    It's non-leveraged so check with your broker. It may be a 100% marginable security.

    That's a possibility but I just want to see if others have seen this with their accounts.
