I have never purchased options on the NYBOT and am having trouble finding info. I want to purchase a call option on an October sugar future that has a strike at 20. My question is, are options on the NYBOT only traded through the floor? Are they ever traded electronically, like overnight? Will I be able to tell what the bid ask is or will I just see the last traded price? I assume that it would not be smart for me to purchase an option with a market order because this contract is thinly traded. Thanks in advance.
