Buying on the Shanghai Stock Exchange vs American depositary shares...

    They are into polypropylene...I spent many hours on the internet trying to find companies that make it. Most are privately held. The above company is on neither the HK or Shanghai exchanges. The governor of California signed a law concerning water for 2022..Here is the story.

    I ended up owning Loews (end supplier), Exxon Mobil, and I just bought Scotts Miracle Gro (SMG). XOM is looking to build a polypropylene plant in the gulf coast in the next few years. SMG could be a cannabis play (though I am not playing it that way). They do have polypropylene tarps and bark for yards. These are buy and holds for many years...Boring but pretty stable. All three I have covered calls on. But they are so far out of the money, that I wouldn't mind if they got called away...Take the money and run, but extra income for now. Cabin
