Other news reports have looked at Russian buyers of Trump Organization properties but less attention has been paid to the all-cash purchases.

"We've long suspected that Donald Trump's businesses were a front for money laundering and our research suggests it could be true," said Harrell Kirstein, communicators director for the Trump War Room at American Bridge. "The millions of dollars in previously unreported, all-cash real estate deals we discovered raise troubling questions about who is funding his businesses, why, and what they're getting in return."

Am sure all those 'Uranium One' & MILLIONS guys would be very appreciative of this report

This should be read together with the recent WaPo report showing huge flows of cash out of the Trump Org right around 2006 and from then on (including during the GFC when other real estate investments dried up).

This is also around the time that Felix Sater and Michael Cohen became heavily involved with Trump.

This pattern is strongly suggestive of money laundering.

    In essence:

    1. Russian mobsters or assorted other crooks pay way over the odds for Trump properties including during the GFC - as per this report.

    2. The Trump Org then spends way over the odds on its own purchases, renovations, gold paint, whatever - say $164 million to run golf courses in Ireland and Scotland, as per the WaPo report.

    3. The Trump Org would need to make those payments to Russian mob linked businesses in the US or Europe.

    4. This kind of scheme would need a central bookkeeper. A fixer, if you will. Someone with longstanding ties to the Russian mob and experience facilitating deals for it Someone like Michael Cohen.

    5. Trump gets a cut, and the mobsters get “clean” money in the US and EU
    6. Who better to front this scheme than a businessman with a reputation for over-the-top flashiness, including overspending and occasionally going broke?

    7. Cohen is therefore like Al Capone's bookkeeper in The Untouchables.

    8. To keep the pop culture references going, the Trump brand would be like the Bat Signal for Russian mobsters.

    9. Or maybe it would be like the mark Gandalf leaves on Bilbo's door:
..."I assure you there is a mark on this door—the usual one in the trade, or used to be. Burglar wants a good job, plenty of Excitement and reasonable Reward, that’s how it is usually read."

  4. "This is all about money laundering," former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon is quoted as saying about the Mueller inquiry in the book, Fire and Fury.

It seems that before the 2008 crash which Trump says he leveraged to get some 'great deals' he was fighting for his life in large part due to the casinos (where he has been fined for gross breach of money laundering protectons).

Gawker chart below.. I can't find really good one to explain how a broke ass scammer with his reputation in the toilet recovered. Perhaps it was just the Apprentice have him a UGE boost, that should account for a lot. I have a feeling however he went over the legal line around 2005 on the property side. Cash payments since 2008 would be more common as banks were not loaning money however between 2004/5 and the crash..

  5. It sounds like a blind squirrel can find a nut sometimes. The Russia Collusion investigation raid on Trump's attorney's office must have turned up some stuff on Trump's businesses.

I wonder how much of the evidence obtained through this search would be admissible.

If Trump has been a little naughty, he needs to be punished.

It will be interesting to see if Trump can garner enough public support with his policies to avoid losing the House to Democrats and thereby avoiding impeachment in his first term.

Little problem with your conspiracy theory. I know that little details and facts like this won't matter to you or to the author of the article.

The article cites Trump Tower I in Sunny Isles as an example. Trump did NOT own the properties. Trump did NOT develop the properties. Trump did not sell the properties. Trump simply licensed his brand name to the owner/developer of the properties.

Below is referring to Trump Towers in Sunny Isles.

"Trump Towers® is not owned, developed or sold by The Trump Organization or any of their current or former principals or affiliates. Dezerbrand Florida LLC, the owner and developer of the property, uses the "Trump" name and mark under license from Trump Marks Sunny Isles II LLC, which license may be terminated or revoked according to its terms."

Trump International Hotel & Tower in Waikiki Beach was not owned, developed or sold by Trump.

The above may be a shock to you and hard for you to understand. You may even attempt another conspiracy from these little details and facts. At the time Trump was licensing his name to the owner/developer of the properties, pretty much everyone on Wall Street and in CRE knew about it.
