J.D Vance after watching a "Meet the Press" clip of him walking back comments he made and admitting he's not speaking for the former president. In the full interview with Vance, to be broadcast later on Sunday, the Ohio Republican was pressed on his claims about Trump signing a national abortion ban, and told host Kristen Welker, "I think I've learned my lesson and speaking for the president before he and I talked about an issue. What he said at the debate as he doesn't support a national ban. He thinks it's ridiculous to talk about vetoing legislation that is going to come up with the president in the first place." That led "The Weekend" co-host Michael Steele to issue a singsong, "Somebody got spanked!" as his co-hosts laughed. He later added, "Donald Trump ain't talking to that man. That's the whole point of this. I mean, at this point that is the whole point. At this stage on something like this, you and your presidential nominee have not discussed it?
