Hi,what is your fill rate in scalping bond and notes,in the buy @ bid and sell @ask manner.

Or is it better entering with market or limit orders?

    Thank you for your replies

  2. Market orders are tough because 1 tick is huge in these markets. I am not necessarily talking about dollar size of $31.25 either, rather I am referring to the tick size in relation to the daily ranges of these markets in comparison to other electronically traded markets as the ES and NQ. There really is no comparison.

Further, I have waited as long as 30 seconds to be filled on one contract using a limit order on the ZB. In short, using market orders is tough because of the one tick slippage is bigger in these markets, especially on narrow range days, so in my opinion it is harder to "day trade" these markets, especially if you are a scalper as you suggest. Just my opinion though.
