Buy BELOW the bottom, Sell at the top Day Trades-- Could someone do it?

  1. Hello RFT,
    re ..Buy BELOW the bottom

    Excellent choice of Username
There is certainly no risk in entering a stop below the bottom.

But don't you get bored with 100% no-fills.

    regards

  2. The 25D-strike bull risk-reversal [norm. to 100D] did indeed earn 6% more today than the buying futures into this rally.

WTF did I win for answering correctly?

  4. Atticus: You did not win, but you earn an A+++++++. The only one in trading history that I would ever give.

Also, did you check what happens on expiration. Buying as well as selling the risk reveral can make money, and one may not need to be long one of the legs which can expire worthless.

In sum your answer is a great answer from a great guy.

    Regards

PS: I understand from your post that the question of this thread came just in time to make some dough for you. You deserve it. The number of +s in the A, are 7, like in heaven. 7=1+6 (as in 6%).

  5. Thanks, I was long from 755 yesterday morning, pre-thread, so took more heat than I cared to take.

  6. DSQ: you are wrong again! NDX is now at 1148. In the RFT financialtraders blog, we sold at 1159, 1167, and 1175, when bears who covered their shorts in a panic.

Profits are: 26, 19, and 11 NDX points.

Bank them folks! And take a break from trading.

  7. We prudently scaled in at 1159, 1167, and 1175, and it is paying handsomely. Now we take profits out, and wear some nice clothes. (No bear or bull clothes (at least for now)).

NDX is now at 1148. Profits are: 26, 19, and 11 NDX points. Bank them folks! And take a break from trading.

  8. 10:47 with NDX at 1143. You may consider flipping the burgers. Start with one burger first. Flip it to the long side.

  9. 10:58AM: NDX at 1148. If you are hungry eat your burger. Wait for the truck to come back (if it does), and then order another one if you are not full for today.

  10. 11:14 with NDX at 1153, I took my burger off the fire. It is now safe, and have no chance to get burned.

Someone paid for it. It cost him 10NDX. Thanks for his business. (If DSQ, more thanks to you buddy. You must be a rich guy).
