Prove how you could have succeeded at buying & holding anything that drops below your purchase price and never recovers.
buy and hold works best on stocks that are dominant in their sectors. Stuff like Google, rimm, and apple.
If buy and hold is the way to go as you say, why is your "index" down 60+%? You really should just stfu and go away, everything you "predict" is wrong, and I mean everything. You should just face facts, you are not cut out for this business, you do not have any of the attributes that make up a succesful trader. In fact you have all the WRONG attributes. You should try and focus on something else, like the manager program at walmart or something, just think you could actually EARN a paycheck, posting the samething over and over and over......is not a way to go through life, espicially when everything you predict, the opposite happens....Do us all a favor and just say adios to this board. How much REAL money have you made in any of the 3 stocks you listed? My guess is you dont own more than a few shares of any and you are down bigtime. Yep buy and hope is the way to go, God what a piker you are.
you don't get what is happening here stock turder is actually a sharp guy who went banana seeing all the idiocy on ET so he decided to really show ET how dumb they are I just can not accept that someone can be that stupid, its an act. It must be
Thats what I thought, but I think this kid actually believes he knows what he is doing! Frightening and creepy, plus humorous all at the sametime.
If your holding on to a solid dividend stock yielding 5% you can make back 100% of your principal in less than 15 years.
It's just desperation, just go to any specific message board for a stock on Yahoo or Google and you find hundreds just like him. They are getting creamed on their investments and they want to reaffirm themselves with like minded people and maybe pull in some new investors gullible enough to see through them.
That's not a solid buy & hold strategy. That's a buy and pray they don't cut the dividend and the government doesn't raise taxes on dividends strategy. Look no further than GM, F and C, among others.
