Slightly off-topic, but Timothy has such a great message that I want to spread ... if in doubt, become a YouTuber ! 19:06 minutes.
I'm a big bull now on Boeing (BA), have invested all I have in its stock. I think the turnaround will work, the share may appreciate by 100% within the next 3 years. Of course, only my opinion and I may be totally wrong. They are rising pre-market opening today (December 11th, 2024).
Which futures contract on the Hang Seng (I find myself in the Southern Hemisphere) is best to day trade ie: the equivalent of ES or NQ?
@Tradenade : this may be the wrong thread to ask this, I don't trade futures contracts (as of now, may happen in the future). Another turnaround candidate I've watched and invested in (sold Boeing shares to do so) yesterday, 12/20/2024, is Nike (NKE). Reason, the company always climbed to a new all-time high when it hit crisis mode. Nike veteran Elliott Hill is the new CEO, he has to correct wrong decisions the CEO before him made. The shares lost big when the company announced its yearly results in pre-market trading (shrinking revenue and earnings), but then actually closed almost unchanged. I believe the turnaround will take place, Nike will grow again and the shares may see their old all-time high within the next 4 years (around 180 US$), until late 2028. Dividend yield around 2%.
As of now, no more Boeing (BA) for me, the JeJu Air crash in Southkorea makes this investment to risky. The bullish setup is not valid anymore imho.

These companies already enjoy skyhigh valuations as private companies, and will be richly valued when they go public (if that happens) . May be superprofitable investments ... Reddit skyrocketed last year, though it's not yet profitable. https://www.investors.com/news/tech...ial-intelligence-models-big-tech-google-meta/
Could Walgreens Boots Alliance (WBA) get back into the profit zone ? The market has reacted positively to the quaterly results, I believe the new CEO Tim Wenthworth is the right person to engineer it. I've purchased shares.
Have decided to increase the WBA position to 100% of my portfolio, I've basically "bet the ranch" that a succesful turnaround at this pharmacy giant will take place. I'm ahead as of now, but if the company disappoints at its next earnings call, the shares will dive. Dividend yield as of now is around 8% I believe, but the dividend may be cut.
Like book stores, stationary stores and now drug stores, a physical presence is not necessary unless you have an urgent need. Market forces, online retails are against them.
