Will Chris Camillo get it right again this time ? Chris has had an amazing run, with a CAGR close to 80% ! He has turned less than 100k US$ into more than 100 million US$, certainly one of the best traders of our time. He had his start in 2006. He has also written a book, called "Laughing at Wall Street". A great student at Southern Methodist University, a "bottom 10%" student, in his own words at high school. Chris is the real deal.
A wonderful educational article provided by Charles Schwab on saving into a low cost index fund on the S&P 500 (or NDX) is the smartest choice for many investors, with a given date each year or month. Note that multiyear rolling periods were considered ! https://www.schwab.com/learn/story/does-market-timing-work

Martin Zweig, Author of "Winning on Wall Street", developed numerous indicators, among them the Breath Thrust indicator. This is, unfortunately, from 11/13/2023, now a little over a month old - I simply missed it, am very frustrated. Still, it may indicate even higher stock prices in November of 2024 (S&P 500 / DJIA 30 / NDX) https://investorplace.com/hypergrow...-thrust-indicator-suggests-hefty-gains-ahead/
What I did not know is that the NDX / Nasdaq100 did so much better than the S&P 500 since 1985 ! Pretty impressive, short read -> https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/nasdaq-100-generated-2152-cagr-last-10-years-abheey-
Given the great signal quality Volatility Calibrated Average True Range (VCATR), this indicator can be found on TradingView, has with buy/long signals in the Nasdaq 100, I played a little bit with it on TV. It is very likely that the NDX / Nasdaq 100 has a longterm support in the 13,000 - 13,400 point range. Another words, we may never see this index fall below this range again in the future (today is January 9th, 2024).
General Electric (ISIN : US3696043013) may double until 2030, from now around 137 US$ to 280 US$ or even more. I believe the company can now regain its competitive edge as a conglomerate, its financial services division probably did more harm than good but now it's full speed ahead, CEO Lawrence Culp does the right things at the top it seems. Still trades far below its all-time high. I'd be a buyer here.
I think this year, 2024, the NDX / Nasdaq 100 will likely hit 20,000 points. The bull market is so strong, disappointing earnings by Snap, maybe a rate hike by the FED - a short pause, the the leading indexes continue to climb. Currently at around 17,572 .
General Electric now has jumped to above 146 US$, I stick to my price target but I believe it may be reached until 2027 . This is the current portfolio ("current" meaning with data available to the public thanks to 13-F filings) of my favorite market wizard, David Tepper. https://whalewisdom.com/filer/appaloosa-management-lp
