  2. The short setup in Natural Gas worked out well in the beginning - but the profit target was not reached, the short position would have been closed with a small win.

Natural Gas is now, according to my analysis in a clear uptrend ! It's "NATURALGAS" on tradingview. Here's the chart, timeframe weekly. It currently trades at 1.964, I see upside potential to 3.00 US$. Stop loss I'd place a 1.80 . It may become a 6R winner !

  3. ... Natural Gas, just "wow", it was a large move in my favour of course but still way to go before the profit target is reached. Trade management ? I'd move the stop loss to 1.86 . [IMG]

  4. I think we have a short setup in the DAX/GER30 (GER30 on tradingview). It now trades @ 12,577 points.
I'd go short with the SL placed 150 points above my entry, profittarget would be 12,050 points.

  5. May be late to the party, but to me it looks as if Silver may see 42 US$ ! I'd go long here with the SL placed 2.40 US$ below the entry price, it now trades @ 25.40 . Profittarget as stated above, 42 U$, SL 23.00 US$ .

Will now stop to post setups, but hope some of you will have gotten something out of this thread, I actually hoped for a bit more interaction with members !

  6. ... won't stop to post setups as I continue to find some opportunities I believe may have a great risk - reward ratio. US Dollar weakness may continue and I think the FX pair USD vs JPY (USDJPY) good break below 100.00 . It currently trades @ around 105.56 - I'd place the stop loss @ 107.50 . Profittarget around 100.00 or even lower.

  7. I think now the DAX / GER30 is in a clear uptrend on timeframe "daily". I'd go long now, the DAX now trades @ 12,656 with the SL placed 110 points below entry, Proftittarget would be 13,000 points. [IMG]

  9. Today I venture into the world of individual stocks and present a company I would NOT buy any shares of ... although it looks on paper very seducing as the current dividend yield is very high, slightly above 15% ! The market cap is as of now above 15 billion US$, but it now trades below its 2008 low (financial crisis !), and could not sustain its COVID19 "mini-bullrun". The company is Imperial Brands PLC, a british tobacco company, symbol on tradingview is "IMB" (LSE listing, quotation in Pound Sterling). It now trades around 1,265 pence . I think it may lose another 40% from its current level, maybe even more !

Looks to me as if a strong dividend cut is unavoidable, and the market is very pessimistic about future earnings !
I call this chart a "horror chart" -> [IMG]

  10. Slightly off-topic, this is from a speech the legendary fund manager Stanley Druckenmiller gave in 2015 at the Lost Tree club in Florida . He was able to generate an almost surreal annualized return of 30.4% without a single losing year for, hold on to your seat, 30 years !

Excerpt "I was not in the top 10 percent of my high school class. My
SATs were so mediocre I went to Bowdoin because it was the only good school that didn‘t require SATs,
and it turned out to be a very fortunate event for me."
