I'd now close the EUR CAD long position, a 4R winner. Current price 1.5500 . The short position in Oil I'd now close at a slight loss, doesn't look anymore as it'd break out on the downside anymore.
May this be a long term downward trend in the currency pair GBPUSD ? Nobody knows, of course, but I think it'd be worth a short position. I'd initiate a short position with the Stop loss 120 pips above my entrylevel. The currency markets are closed as of now, but the pair might open around 1.2572 . Profittarget of this longterm shortposition if the Stoploss (around 1.2690) would be around 1.2100, around 472 pips below entry.
I'd give Oil (Brent) another shot, currently trades @ 42.98 and I'd initiate a short position now, SL @ 43.25, TP @ 42.05 .
Natural Gas may reach the profit target, I'd now pull the stop loss in this short position to breakeven (1.79) .
GBPUSD short did not work out, would close it at a loss ! It now trades at around 1.2690. To me it now looks as if a valid uptrend has been established, I'd go long with a wide stop loss of a full 200 pips (around 1.2490 would be the exit level) and profittarget around 1.3100. "Only" a 2R trade if the profittarget would be reached, but I think it may happen.
For a trendfollower, oil is now a clear candidate for a long trade, but I'd choose a wide stop loss (3 US$ below my entry), on the upside I now see a price of 52 US$ or even higher. It as of now trades @ 43.97 (OIL_BRENT on tradingview).
FX pair USDCAD now trades @ 1.3462 ... looks to me as if it may go straight down to 1.3000 now, I don't think it'll see 1.3600 again but of course can't say so for sure !
I'd now place a long bet on my native german DAX/GER30 index, it now trades @ 13,165 points. SL 230 points below entry (at around 12,930 points), profittarget 13,800 points .
This may be a strong long setup, I see the FX pair € vs NZD possibly advancing to 1.75, currently trades @ around 1.74 . SL I would place 50 pips below entry. A potential 2R winner.
.... EURNZD now trades @ 1.7463 ! I'd move the SL to breakeven (the bid/ask spread should be included, as it is quite wide in this pair), hope we'll see 1.75 .
