Take a free trial at www.tradingmarkets.com
You will get a lot of free useful stuff there.

    Go to www.stockcharts.com
their free tutorials are great for technical trading

A lot of what I learned was from chat rooms and visiting all the sites that I could.

I like the method from the book Bollinger on Bollinger bands. That is really simple and it does work percentage wise and all charting services calculate them. You can get a cheap copy at Amazon. and visit www.bollinger.com

The only problem with not being mentored is you will loose a lot of money while you are learning. Even if you paper trade first for months, actual money makes you crazy at first.

  4. nuton, i don't think he was, but he might as well have been.

i don't understand this fascination with seminars. tharp's is like 4 Gs too. why in the world you'd wanna pay that when you can essentially pick up the exact same info in his book is beyond me. granted if you are an idiot and incapable of determining meaning from the written word it might be worthwhile.
