  2. Need you be reminded that in 1991, while everyone were minding their own business, iraq invaded Kuwait and started firing missiles on israel, threatening use of chemical weapons, and it did so UNPROVOKED.

Europe and the middle east need a nanny, and the US is the only one who can do it. When Europe was left to mind its own business, a world war erupted, TWICE. When arabs are left to mind their own business, there is nothing but trouble.

Huh?? I have no idea what you're talking about??? Where exactly do you remember this from? HELLO. WAKE UP. The Israeli army doesn't TARGET children. The Palestinians DO. Do you honestly think the Israel Apache pilots fly around saying "Hey! There's a Palestinian schoolchild! Let's quickly fire a Hellfire missile at it!" Any missile fired by Israeli helicopters is fired at terrorist masterminds who make bombs and send others to DELIBERATELY kill Israeli children. I find it incredulous that some people can't acknowledge the difference...

  4. I really don't understand this line of thinking- the notion that free world leaders are somehow negligent if they "fan the flames of terrorism" by taking a stand.

If someone already hates your guts, how is it possible to make them any angrier? What are they going to say?

"That's the last straw... before we just wanted to kill you and your whole family, but man, now we REALLY want to kill you and your whole family."

You don't stop terrorists by getting them to see the light of reason. You stop them with determination and force. If they get more pissed, that's probably a sign that you're doing something right.

By the way, anyone think Bin Laden would be offering to 'negotiate' if we didn't have al qaeda's nuts in a vise?

Right. I also rememeber a famous AP picture which looked like an Israeli cop was roughly shoving a Palestinian who had blood on his face, which was the gist of the AP caption. Only problem was, it was a picture of a Israeli cop pulling a Jewish student away from an Arab mob who beating him to death. SO it might be better not to quote "news cameras".

  6. Nice dodge.
So do you think Churchhill was right or wrong and why?

Let me remind you, 50 MILLION DEAD in WWII
because people like you wanted to stay uninvolved.

Thats right 50 cent. Saddam invaded Kuwait.
What would have happened if we did nothing?

Psychopathic Saddam gains ANOTHER country, with more
oil reserves = more money = more power.

    He gets bigger and stronger.

We continue to stand aside. He buys/develops nuclear technology.
    He improves/buys his missle technology.

Suddenly we have ANOTHER North Korea with her sights
    on USA soil. Just wonderful.

Sit aside and do nothing, and this scenario is JUST A MATTER OF TIME.
Another hitler is born, but this time with nukes.

You think that is a good thing copernicus???

  7. about targeting children, as i mentioned before this is a cultural clash. some time ago a palestinian mother whose son was a suicide bomber was interviewed on cnn. she was delighted with pleasure about her son.

    She was delighted that:

    1. Her son has exploded (he is a "shahid" and is now in heaven).
    2. Her son took quite a few people to heaven with him, or left them on earth mutilated.

A MOTHER is delighted that his SON is dead and a mass murderer. Double the pleasure.

This can only happen in Islam. There is no other culture on earth where this can happen. It doesn't happen in the animal kingdom either. Ever seen an animal mother joyful about the death of her cub or baby?

  8. why not just stop the theater right now and do another Yalta?
gather everybody that matters in the world draw the borders and thats it. that way when somebody gets out of line we smoke them and the rest of the world wont be able to condemn it.

  9. churchill was right!
but, its a different world now. Nukes take care of things in 10 sec, no need for 50 mil people to die.

  10. Uh, no, how about we just make it clear that murder of innocents is not an acceptable way to get your point across, and then back that statement with force, as responsible defenders of the rule of law should do?

Take your sarcasm to the terrorists and ask them why they don't press their case in the court of world opinion instead of blowing people up.
