  1. Libya was far more advanced with their weaponry.
Kadaffi is still in power, gave it all up, and we didnt have to tear up the country.

  2. Ummmm so what are you saying?

    That we SHOULD be involved?

No need for 50 million to die?

Exactly what do you think nukes are capable of?

Your not making any sense now.

  3. splphil, I find that kind of idiotic moral relativism as exasperating as you do. However, it truly is held by only a very tiny fringe element here in the U.S. Unfortunately, it seems to hold wider sway among the Western Europeans. But perhaps they should be excused. After all, I can only imagine how difficult it must be for them emotionally and psychologically to have peaked as world powers many decades, if not centuries, ago, now being utterly irrelevant on the world stage. Rather reminds me of the former star high school quarterback who now pumps gas and stews in embittered longing for his glory days of yore. A lot of perverse thoughts can eminate from such minds.

  5. Yeah....and he didnt give it up because of international/US pressure right?

He did this out of the kindness of his own heart. LMAO.

Helloooooooooo.... he gave it up BECAUSE of involvement
    from other countries.

    Your discrediting your own position.

  6. Way to go... Tell them like it is! I am tired of hearing the whiners complaining about our national policies. They need to get there facts straight. Let's review what our national policies have done over the past few years. Our national policies donate millions of dollars in food aid to north korea, the same policy that keeps south korea free, the same policy that protects taiwan from the chinese, the same policy that spends millions of dollars in relief aid for countries burdened by aids in africa, and the same country who rids the world of evil dictators and frees a nation held captive for 25 years. Oh yeah, I forgot the same policy the dropped the berlin wall and brought freedom to millions of people in russia. We do much more right than we ever did wrong, and still no one is happy with us. I am sure that the critics fail to remember the facts, and I am more than happy to enlighten them!

  10. Can't happen, world is too small.

We have strong ideological ties to Israel based on unbreakable political and religious bonds.

Even if the government cut off all foreign aid (which would be fine with me), Israel would still get billions in private donations from the US, and they would still get moral support from the US, both of which are also fine by me.

Because of this, terrorists would still be using Israel as an excuse to hate the USA even if Uncle Sam didn't lift a finger for them.

Not to mention that helping out your friends and fighting terrorists is the right thing to do. The entire world will be better off when these jihadi a-holes lose their grip on the middle east. Force and resolve are the only language they will listen to.

p.s. we send billions to Egypt too. Lot of gratitude it buys us.
