  1. Well isn’t that an interesting comment. I am sure you came from a trailer in Middle America and did well for yourself or I am sure maybe you’re handicapped and against the odds you became lighting in a bottle. In life you have to have compression for people and I think your words are full of shit. I say that for the simple fact that you ask people for a great deal of money to learn how you trade. So how does a poor man learn to fish even in your world? It’s amazing the hypocrites say one thing but pass the buck to someone else to do the helping. Why don’t you offer your time for free to anyone willing to fly to where you live and learn now you trade? The talk is cheap and I really am not looking to be mean but I think your views very uncompassionate.

Its amazing your plan is to only screw poor people. I saw you started talking about the Democrats stopping the nice sweet Republicans from doing great things for the lower class. Tort reform is a joke. It’s good for the doctors and the insurance companies but does not protect the person. Why don’t we just have national healthcare so we cut all the money out of healthcare companies and doctors can make normal amount of money like they do in other countries. I think Clinton the Democrat wanted that and the Republican hated it. Let everyone be treated equally so wealth does not improve your medical treatment. I think if we do that Tort reform is a great idea.

  4. No money in prevention. Healthcare firms would have fewer clients and drug companies would make less money. Drug companies don’t focus on prevention because that’s only one sale but if your sick they call sell do you until you die.

  5. That's ridiculous. Prevention entails consumers taking responsibility for their own health. Most people don't do that. In addition, when they do get sick they want the symptoms to go away and aren't concerned with why they got sick in the first place.

By the way, there definitely is money in prevention. Just look at the nutritional supplement industry.

  7. Here's a good example of needed regulation. This a very large industry (mostly unregulated), where a lot of products' claims are questionable. Some are even reported as potentially dangerous.

  8. What are you , a communist? Why does this industry need to be regulated? Why can't people be responsibile for there own actions and make educated decisions on what they consume in their own body?

more government does not solve problems it only creates them.

  9. Sorry, this is a bit of a pet peeve. But I really dislike when people misuse terms or engage in meaningless rhetoric.

So, first how about looking up the definition of communism before you use it in a sentence. You might be surprised at what it really means.

Second, statements like "more government does not solve problems it only creates them." are really just political sound bites. Many aspects of government serve vital functions -- I'm sure you can think of a few. At one time, they too were "more government."

  10. I know what communism is, do you?

    Communism
    1. A system of government in which the state plans and controls the economy and a single, often authoritarian party holds power, claiming to make progress toward a higher social order in which all goods are equally shared by the people.

How did I misuse the term? The poster I was referring to seems to think the State has to regulate everything, or in other words, control the economy.

I didn't want to go into more detail for fear of hijacking the thread, but since you mentioned it, maybe you have an example of where government actually solved a problem. And it doesn't count if the problem being solved was caused by government in the first place.
