    "Brownie did a heckuva job."

  3. Duhhhhh.....if the Bushes are a family of traitors, and Jeb helped him get elected (think Florida 2000) that really doesn't say much for Jeb's character, now does it...

A good governor would not help a man like GW get elected to the highest elected office in the land...

  6. A quote from another idiot senator.
Said Sen. Jon Kyl (news, bio, voting record), R-Ariz., a key sponsor of the bill: "I think the president understands that really is our last best hope. We have a system that cannot identify whether they (immigrants) are legally employed or not."

"Unfortunately, neither the previous administraton nor this administration nor the Congress has done a good job of enforcing the border," Kyl told CNN Tuesday. "The key is employee verification ... and the system today we have is broken. It's a joke. It cannot be enforced."

Listen up senator retard. We can identify whether they are legally employed or not. THEY'RE NOT!
The system IS NOT BROKEN and it CAN BE ENFORCED...by people that actually have some balls.
The idiot is right about one thing...it is a joke.

  7. i saw Sen McCaskill talking about this last night... she said what i say. punish the employers... that will solve things real fast.

  8. That has always been the solution, but the employers fund the politicians running in elections...

  9. Agreed! I'd like someone to show me where all the people are that support legalization. I don't know one single person that supports this bill. NOT ONE!, and I know quite a few people...from all walks of life. Men, women, black, white, brown(yes brown), poorly educated, well educated, living paycheck to paycheck, have more than enough money, etc., etc. Christ, on this forum alone we have people agreeing that legalization is a bad idea. People that otherwise disagree on just about everything.
The only people I see and hear that support this bullshit bill are lazy ass politicians and corporate pigs looking for slave labor.

  10. What makes me crazy is when the supporters justify it on the basis that "we have to do something" and "the system is broken." No shit. and how will dumping 12 million applications for Z visas on it make it function better? The immigration bureaucracy is so overburdened now they can't even renew passports in a timely fashion.

This is not rocket science. Step 1. Build a fence and put ever how many people are needed on the border to close it. Congress didn't have a problem with hiring 5 million morons to hassle us at airports after 9/11. Is this less important?

Step 2. Set up a computerized system that allows employers to cross check job applicants with a database to ensure they are legal immigrants and have valid SS numbers. Congress didn't mind imposing such a system on firearms dealers. Credit card companies somehow are able to do pretty much the same thing. Why can't the government?

Step 3. Prosecute any employer found to have illegals on their payroll.

Step 4. Deny welfare benefits to illegals. Enact legislation to end the practice of birth citizenship for illegals.

Step 5. When all the above have been put into place, set up a system for temporary workers, who will be sponsored by employers, who will be subject to fines if their guest workers overstay.
