Yes Waggie, that is all and nice but you seem to be proving my point. You can't name one guy that could do a better job then Bush right now considering our current state of affairs. And you know what? I can't either. I mean I look back to the 2000 primary and play the what if game. Let's see, we had Hatch, Bauer, Keyes and McCain. Hatch no way, Bauer, please, he makes me ill. McCain? Well I like the guy but I don't see him being any better then Bush. Keyes, well, here is a guy I really like now. I dismissed him in 2000 but maybe, maybe I would put him in. Of course he is 100% unelectable. But other then Keyes, I can't even think of any other republican out there, even Guliani, Gingrich, Jeb Bush, nobody. So let's let Bush do his job.

  2. I strongly disagree with you there. Islam is just a veil, a powerful tool for politicians to manipulate around the young and easily misled. Karl Marx was not kidding with "opiate of the masses." (Anyone calls me a communist right here can kiss my Brooks Brothers-coated ass and then move around to the front and lick my balls).

If it wasn't Islam getting young foolish people (i.e. that schmuck John Walker Lind), it would be national socialism. Or it would be something else. The majority of Muslims are "real people"; they don't hate anybody, including Americans.

What you have in the middle east is a bunch of poor people who are easily pushed around by a bunch of politicians masquerading as clerics. Satanic verses. Wouldn't even make me blink to find out that Arafat works for the CIA.

And haven't you not realized that the religious bullshit that our regime is pulling is the same exact issue as in the middle east? Fucking marriage amendment? WHO CARES?! We should thank these assholes for pissing out our fucking tax money to get re-elected with this fucking marriage amendment??

AAA, do you actually know a single Muslim? I know several. They are genuinely good people. This whole crusade against Islam has been started by a bunch of opportunist, nutcase ideologues looking for an excuse to take over the world.

"...he tried to kill my daddy..." -g dumya bush

Everybody understands force. They've just never been given any other options.

Actually, maybe they don't understand force...? 'Cuz we've been smacking the shit out of them and they come back, hellbent on fucking us up.

To quote David Cross, "fucking Nader would've bombed Afghanistan!!!"

Saddam was a pawn. And you're right, they pulled it off because nobody is sad Saddam is gone. THEY KNEW THIS.

    Can't disagree with you there.

That's a terrible thing to say! Kerry was a rich kid just like Dumya. He didn't have to go to Vietnam. You make it sound like he was on a cruise.

    iran...................CONTRA!!!

Keeping in mind that many of the fine fellows from Reagan and daddy's administrations are in dumya's cabinet, do you know how roughly how many people were convicted of felonies in Reagan's CABINET during his administration?

    ANSWER: >20. (I think the actual # is 24, but I haven't double-checked it).

How many felons were produced from Clinton's cabinet? 1.

Ah, I remember 9/11 when the rest of the world got behind us. I bet if I'd gone to Europe I coulda gotten laid like THAT.

Bungrider: I agree with much of your post. However it's hard to argue that the violence associated with Islamic expansionism/extremism isn't of epic global proportions. Perhaps peaceful American Muslims are not the best proxy. Afterall not many fanatical Muslims could stomach living here in the West.

The happenings in Algeria, Malaysia, Pakistan and the Philippines make it clear that there is more to this battle than the struggle over a Palestinian homeland. Clearly anything approaching a genocidal onslaught against Islam must be avoided. Yet, is it immoral for Western democracies to target certain clerics/leaders for removal by force? When is imposition warranted? Ever?

I seriously doubt that. You're the dogs master after all. The only tricks he/she knows is what you have taught him. You haven't a clue about whats REALLY going on any more than the rest of us on ET. We never have been and never will be privy to the communications between those involved. We don't know what they know, we don't know who they know.

The best we can do is surmise. Because our hands aren't on the wheel, our feeble attempts to be back seat drivers is silly. What you know is only what you've been told. Do you honestly think there isn't some manipulation in the media? Now would be a perfect time for die hard dems to start shouting that Pres Bush manipulated this that and whatever. Attacking Pres Bush yet at the same time bowing in the presence of Clinton. How absurd.

For all your blow hard remarks, you aren't doing yourself, those around you or future generations any good if you can't be objective. That means giving credit to both sides. Put party politics aside. Do you think future generations are going to care which party is responsible for the mess they're in? Be it financial bondage or lost liberties?

Bush bashers angrily proclaim that WMD never existed. Are you sure? Are you positive? Only fools are positive. Two administrations and other countries independent of the US were convinced WMD's existed. What if they're right and you're wrong? Are you prepared to risk EVERYTHING on your assertion of rightness? I'm not. I have children and grandchildren that deserve my thinking that where there's smoke there's fire. Because if I bury myself in political hatred like some here and attack and accuse the administration of lying, and in the end I'm wrong, my thinking could cost them their lives. Well what if those WMD's DO exist, if we don't prevent them from being found by the wrong people, and the WMD's make their way to the US, you'll think the tragedy of and the economy crash after 9/11 was just a blimp.

There are some people here that spout the same ole stupid rhetoric about the tax cuts being just for the rich. That is so much BS its pathetic. The ones that paid in the most got back the most. That's FAIR. But they don't care if its fair, its just one more thing to complain about. Just one more thing to twist into obscurity.

I was a die hard democrat. Worked and ate with the elite. Believing they honestly cared for the little guy. As time went by my eyes were opened wider and wider to the truth. Care about the little guy? NOT ON YOUR LIFE. I was talking to VP Mondale one day about some legislation the administration was trying to push through and how it was going to kill three communities were I lived and put thousands out of work. You know what he said? "Well they vote mostly republican there anyway". I couldn't believe my ears. The SOB couldn't care less about jobs and people. People are only pawns. Think that's an isolated attitude? WRONG.

Personally I don't care which party a candidate belongs to. I'll look at their views, mindset etc. and weigh that against what I think is fair and sound. I'll be voting for Bush because he's had a harsh road to travel, some of it NOT of his making, and he's done okay. Kerry's actions after he came home went too far. Some of our men suffered more at the hands of their captors because of the propaganda. And you know, I kinda like those that feel we're being taxed too much. When my neighbor practices sound money management and still can't get out of the hole because so much is taken away in taxes, something is wrong. That's not the American dream.

  7. You can now be questioned by the gov under any ridiculous pretext :
    http://www.fromthewilderness.com/store/books.html
On December 29 th the Associated Press reported:

“The FBI is warning police nationwide to be alert for people carrying almanacs, cautioning that the popular reference books covering everything from abbreviations to weather trends could be used for terrorist planning.

”In a bulletin sent Christmas Eve to about 18,000 police organizations, the FBI said terrorists may use almanacs "to assist with target selection and pre-operational planning."

”It urged officers to watch during searches, traffic stops and other investigations for anyone carrying almanacs, especially if the books are annotated in suspicious ways.”

  9. Remember that they are exploiting people emotions :
"THE GRAND CHESSBOARD - American Primacy And It's Geostrategic Imperatives," Zbigniew Brzezinski [head of the trilateral founded by Rockfeller and former head of National Securities under Carter, it is also him who financed Ben Laden in Afghanistan: not a coïncidence...], Basic Books, 1997.

    exerpt p.40 quoted by
    http://www.fromthewilderness.com/free/ww3/zbig.html

"America is too democratic at home to be autocratic abroad. This limits the use of America's power, especially its capacity for military intimidation. Never before has a populist democracy attained international supremacy. But the pursuit of power is not a goal that commands popular passion, except in conditions of a sudden threat or challenge to the public's sense of domestic well-being." [What does he means ]

"Moreover, as America becomes an increasingly multi-cultural society, it may find it more difficult to fashion a consensus on foreign policy issues, except in the circumstance of a truly massive and widely perceived direct external threat."æ (p. 211) [Emphasis added] [What does he means once again ]

"...To put it in a terminology that harkens back to the more brutal age of ancient empires, the three grand imperatives of imperial geostrategy are to prevent collusion and maintain security dependence among the vassals, to keep tributaries pliant and protected, and to keep the barbarians from coming together." (p.40)"
