  1. I DON't agree with you everywhere but judging from your post you don't support obama but then u must support mccain right, have you seen the man he is LITERALLY retarded and thats an understatement.

would you rather have someone who can at least look, act, and speak professionally and intelligently as your president or someone who has the intelligence of a highschool kid coupled with 0 ZERO experience on economic issues, i bet the guy doesn't even know what fundamentals ARE LOL "i have a fundamental belief, that the fundamentals of our economy are strong" - McCain

  2. LOL! A common feeling, but I'm sure someone will come up with money to fund the crisis. They always do, even if that means blatantly printing the money. I bet soverieign losing funds will be the first to buy in....

  3. umm, nothing you posted makes sense.

"the dude voted present 130 times and can't make up his mind on any issues at hand;"

    - if you dont know where he stands, how do you know he is socialist? :D

    - Do you agree, given the massive corporate bailouts Bush is authorizing, Bush is the biggest socialist around?

"And did you know that he has a half brother in Africa"

    - do you have proof? any african can stand up and claim to be Obamas brother.

" making literally 1$/month and got nothing from his 1mil/year brother on the other side of the world;"

    - So now you are suggesting he ISN'T socialist? :D

"do you really think that he cares about your poor old soul after he's elected? I don't think so."

    - and you think Bush/McCain care about your soul? LOL :D

Let's face it. McCain is a continuation of Bush. Given the horrendous failure Bush has proven to be, what exactly are you expecting from McCain?

"Change" from a fellow who spent his entire adult life in washington? :D

    - No one claims Obama is a saint. He's after power like every other politician.

    - However, Obama is the LESSER of the two evils the powers-that-be have selected for you.:D

  5. with all the tax deductions a self-employed trader has access to, tax raise is just a political stunt.

  6. Totally.

Ask Ace Greenberg how much his net worth has dropped the past month. answer. most

Now ask the guy delivering the mail how much wealth he's lost.
answer; nothing (in fact his CPI mandated raise starts 10/1)

This is an investor class crisis. Rapidly the average American is a Mexican housewife in Salinas not a Penn grad working at LEH.

Everyone fixates on the poor guy who's losing his house and the banker losing his job but there was a winner too. Who? The homeowner who CASHED OUT BIG when he unloaded into the "bubble" bid. It's ZERO SUM. Redistibution city. Those ex-homeowners etal reaped the cash that Wall Street just bled. You pay me a mil for a house I'm long a mil. You default you're out a house. It's now worth 500k you're lender is out a half mil. I'm still a mil large. That's the math. Some are really hurting....some are grooving. Tell Johan Santana that times are tough.

  7. That's a crock - you leave out what the Fedheads are doing to "fix" it - turning up the money pump that dumps it as inflation on everyone and eats away whatever little buying power they have left.

Ace Greenberg may only notice it at the margins of his disposable income. So what?

  8. Different issue. The blood is on Wall Street not Main Street....

Let's face it, Obama can't win because the white working population won't vote for him. Most of his supporter are the minorities, and liberal college kids, that won't get it done.

  10. Not true.....I know few people that have non-Wall Street jobs but are hurting. I was talking to the guy that comes to clean my dog's turd. He used to charge $33 a month for once a week clean-up. Recently he had to increase the prices because his costs (mostly gas) was up and there were few people in the neighborhood that cancelled the service in the past few months. It is $40 a month but he says he is making less now than a year ago even with the increase.

    This is affecting everyone.

Pabst, serious question...... as a conservative what are you trying to conserve?

I think the terrorist hate our liberal values of freedom and everyone's human rights. If the terrorist knwe that we have people that hate gays and one of our candidates(John McCain) that is running for president does not believe in equal rights for women....I think the terrorists will stop hating us.
