Let's get back to that article. I guess I read it differently than you did, ZZZ. The author did a pretty good job of explaining why it was very rational for the President to be at least skeptical of the revised NIE. That's why it's important to have a President who has the background and competence to make an independent judgment. Otherwise, we could just leave policy-making to unelected bureaucrats.
produce: 1. To bring forth yawn... zzzZZZz we know your choice is obamillary. the fact that you hide from this tells us all we need to know. you are a coward.... and that is being kind.
Given your definition of produce below, anyone who is a particular type of US citizen, over a certain age, free from a criminal record could be "brought forth" as a candidate... More goonism from a goon RuPaulite... Even more ridiculous is that concept that it takes courage to be a RuPaulite. No courage is not required to post on an anonymous message board who you would vote for...that only take stupidity, which you have in double desks of spades... Amazing the cult of personality that is at work, where the discussion by the RuPaulites is all about Ron Paul as if he were the messiah, rather than just a discussion of the issues. Oh well, at least you and Tom Cruise have something in common now... Listen to the Scientologists talk about L. Ron Hubbard and then listen to the RuPaulites talk about Ron Paul...now that's a scary reality of the cult like nature of both..
It is rational to tell the American people one thing and then tell the Israel power brokers something different in private and not make sure the information didn't "leak out"? If you are saying Bush is incompetent, well that's true, but his presidency as an incompetent is directly related to the mental competency of the voters who put him there. Come on AAA, when are you just going to come clean and take some personal responsibility for helping to put Bush in office?
It would be wrong to say one thing to the voters and another to Israel "power brokers", but I see no evidence Bush has done that. The NIE is a product of intelligence community bureaucrats, not a White House product. I can't fault the voters who voted for Bush, considering the alternatives. Democrats should be the ones apologizing for running such far left candidates that a guy with Bush's obvious shortcomings is preferable. Anyway, he didn't follow my advice. If he had, he would be basking in 70%+ approval ratings.
