Why are you confused? I'll still trade on my own, even as I teach others and unfortunately it takes a few weeks to close down a hedge fund and transfer the cash to personal accounts. I've been trading a little lately, but with only about 5% of my total capital.
I would say nice evasion, but it was actually pretty much ham-handed. Hope you trade better than you dissemble. Good luck winding down that 'hedge fund'. You asked someone earlier whether they were against capitalism. I am not. I feel if you can sucker people into paying you money for a 'trading course', more power to you. It's annoying when you are spamming every second thread here and starting hundreds of spam threads, but Baron is also a capitalist and I am in fact not paying for this service. I can leave or simply put up with it and school you every once in a while, just like the others here are doing. I understand that pretending you have a hedge fund, or that you've never made a losing trade, or that you have a 95% winning system, or that you are posting here for the edification of others, or that you aren't a snake oil salesman, is a part of your job and you're just doing it. I personally wouldn't want your job, but hey... whatever pays your bills. In the end, when we come on here to point out your lies (like the one about shorting a stock that isn't borrowable, or never having had a losing trade or running a 'hedge fund' or registering idiotically transparent aliases to reply to your own posts), it helps you since more eyeballs see your snake oil posts and we all know that there are people who will give you money in the face of all evidence that they shouldn't. At least you could admit that you love it when you get flamed, since it's putting money in your pocket. I won't hold my breath to wait for you to do what all you guys can't do - post your trades in real time. The fact is, you can't do that because you have a problem picking winners.
I wonder how his book is selling? Haven't heard much on that. Probbaly not too well. Now he is trying to sell some dvd on trading penny stocks. Christ...what next.....oceanfront property in Arizona? Sad part is in another 6 mos he will be gone and forgotten.....gotta admit..is entertaining watching him get destroyed on here.
Man, I just went through like 40 pages of this thread. Cut the kid some slack. I don't blame him one bit. He's trying to make a name for himself and gain credibility and make money. So he writes a book and sells a DVD. He's getting publicity whether good or bad. It's capitalism at its best. Maybe he will gain a following and people follow his penny stock picks. Everyone knows there are suckers born every minute. Ponzi scheme's still work in penny stocks! There are people who make good money pumping and dumping and manipulating the market. It goes on every day we all know that. Isn't it great when all those people buy into the momentum as you dump your shares on them for a nice profit?
Ever since timmay came to ET, he's lost credibility with each move. Now he's a proven liar (claims to have shorted a stock you can't borrow) , a proven manipulator (deleting bad reviews from amazon.com) and a proven idiot (getting his name on Page Six in the most embarrassing, humiliating way). He has had emails exposed of him begging to attend a party he was dis-invited to using lines like, "I have 2 girls who bought dresses.."etc etc Whatever accomplishments he had 2 years ago have been completely offset by his snake oil tactics. That's why they didn't want him at that party, and that's why he takes crap wherever he goes now. But hey, now timmay has 4 posts to respond to. And you know his m.o., when this headline falls off the ET frontpage, he'll respond to a post, and then when the thread falls off the front page again, he'll respond to the next post. etc etc It's pathetic! timmay thinks by keeping his threads on the homepage that he'll keep getting publicity, he vastly overestimates what his time on this website can accomplish. If you don't agree, look at his amazon.com sales rank. That speaks the loudest. OK timmay, now tell us: 1 "you don't know all the details, so buy the book and dvd" 2 "have patience, in the next few months you'll see my master plan" 3 "watch my fantasy trades, they will show you i'm a great trader" 4 "I cut through the Bullship" Unfortunately, ignoring timmay doesn't work either, he will just keep pushing his threads to the homepage by starting new frivolous posts. Doesn't help his amazon.com sales rank, but don't forget his master plan!
1. You can borrow CHNR, y ou're just too much of an idiot to realize this. Some other ETers like gaj successfully shorted it and don't try to claim that an alias--he's been a member before I even knew about the site. 2. I asked Amazon to delete FACTUALLY INACCURATE reviews by sneding them a copy of my book and highlighting specifc paragraphs that contradicted the "reviews". ETers like to go on other sites and have a spamfest knocking me--thats fine, but don't get your facts wrong! 3. I leaked those embarassing emails--credibility is all in how much you can entertainment/educate/help people make $; in time you'll realize I have no problem with that--right now its all about exposure and bad press is great exposure! 4. all I'm doing is answering questions and talking about my products. sales are going fine, DVD sales are going particularly well and I haven't even started blogging and posting real time trades yet!

Some other ETers shorted the stock too, just because you don't have a good setup doesn't mean others don't. 3. I don't have aliases, it might surprise you but people really do love my book and I tell them to post that on ET. The few who have done so tell me I shouldn't waste my time here because nobody is into really learning, we'll see. 4. I could care less about getting flamed, I've got nothing to hide so this is all just foreplay. Imagine an entire business based around openness, screw ups and all--it feels great. So seriously say anything you want, i'll try and respond the best I can, but in a few months or maybe even a few years, you'll come around
