He's hiding right now with his foot in his mouth. Let him ponder over his bad decisions. He is a perfect example of the emotions that go into a full blown market cycle.
Another series of blanket baseless accusations. You are trying to claim that because I'm against Bitcoin, I'm against all new ideas, that I don't understand how exchanges work (when did exchanges ever come up in this conversation?), and I have no idea how markets work. You are criticizing points and statements that I never made. You don't have to address anything that I write. But the fact that you spent so much time accusing me of things I never said while ignoring the points that I have made highlights the lack of support for your arguments.
Non of people who behind it on this form, can ever answer me a simple question about USDT. It is absurd that I need to use my hard earned cash to buy Bitcoin, but BitFinex just creates tethers out of thin air and can used them to also buy Bitcoin. The idea about stable coins is that they are backed by cash, BUSD looks like is. It has been proven that tethers are backed by nothing and yet, they fully functioning. One just wonders.........
RedDuke, your question has been answered by me many times but I guess I was not clear enough, or you do not accept it. The basis of your "question" is false. Bitfinex does not create USDT tethers out of thin air. Like any stablecoin, Tethers are created when an investor (usually a big investor, makes deposits to the exchange(s)). I know you'll come back with some other question, but I suggest you contact Bitfinex support or Binance support for your questions if you want your concerns fully addressed. https://wallet.tether.to/transparency
You ignoring the facts. just google about USDT it is all there. They lied about it first being back by dollars, then by loans and at the end truth came out that they are backed by shit. ignoring facts to feel comfortable about a fantasy is a cult.
I wonder why you still think I offered arguments. I did not and I do not. I know that you did not look into cryptocurrencies, thus all you say about this market is completly worthless. Aaand that's it. Why is that so hard to understand? For people who are interested, I posted a couple of bits. For the rest...well, I don't give a flying fuck. I just add you to ignore so that your meaningless waffling doesn't tilt me when I log in.
RedDuke, there's no need for hyperbole and conspiracy theories. Simply contact the entity behind USD Tether to communicate your concerns and get answers. It's a big company with lots of resources. https://tether.to/contact-us/
It was merely a suggestion. There's more history to this, in that RedDuke has claimed no one has answered his "question" (it's not really a question, it's a conclusion) but I answered him on many occasions that he's wrong, Tether is not printed out of thin air, there's a process, but who am I? I'm some anonymous poster on ET. I pointed to the official source of USD Tether. If he's not satisfied, he can have his lawyer or other agencies to act in his behalf to get official documentation from many sources. Anyone can do that to alleviate their concerns. But to get back to the original situation, RedDuke is not truthful when he claims his question has not been answered on USD Tether. I have answered it and I've seen another poster respond, as well. If he doesn't accept the ET posters' answers, that is perfectly his prerogative, but to claim it has never been answered is a lie.
Please write a dissertation about it and I get you the Nobel for economy. Since NOBODY knows how to evaluate it, you would be the first.
