  1. Thanks for uploading it, I enjoyed it.

Any idea if Rambo still trades?

Do you know why he decided to trade in Australia? Just curious because in part nke he mentioned the CBOT so wondered why he ended up there.

    > Yeah he still trades. I heard he's nearing retirement and has slowed down dramatically just recently. He still trades the exact same stuff.... but our Bills have been dead for a good 2 years (due to the RBA holding rates low for a long time and with the whole world-slump-recession thing going on).... also by slowing down dramatically it doesn't mean he's sized down heaps, I think it just means more lax attitude and holidays. Also his size/orders are not as dominating in todays market as it was 10 years ago, with the growth of the futures industry being exponential and all.

    > There are guys at my firm that make a lot more than him now. Granted, you probably need to wait about 5 years to see if they're still that big and how far they're progressing. Obviously the amount of guys making more than him you can count them on 2 fingers but it's just a sign that the game got bigger.

    > I don't know why he decided to come to Australia. Funny enough, the Top 2 biggest Bond traders at my firm that I know of, have traded in Chicago for a while. So they seem to, in the past, have moved around the place... trading Cash Bonds... futures... around the world. I'm talking between 7-15 yrs ago though.

I remember hearing from a very, very reliable source he wanted to be a really big fish in a small pond. This was impossible in the U.S. market. But I'll ask again when I see him.

possibly the Start up cash to get down on the floor was lower in Australia?

I heard back in the day it cost a ton of coin to get on the floor by yourself, (feel free to correct me if I am wrong).

Then once you get set up in your ways and a good strategy and get your life going in a place, its just easier to stay there.

I pinged the producer of the video to see if he still had them for sale... lets see what he says... but this was a really good addition to my library.
