I don't know anything about charts, but the dollar index sure looks good to me. How do I trade it? I looked all over the CME forex site and all I can find is pairs. Not sure what the index is but I assume it's a basket of non US currencys. Does anybody trade the index? What is the symbol and what exchange does it trade on?
ok, I'm getting pretty good at this here googling. DX on the NYBOT right? I never had much interest in trading the index, because I figured why trade the dollar against a basket that may include some other currency that everybody is bearish on.. At anyrate, when I was searching around for info on the Dollar Index I came across a chart and thought, daggone, that looks like one of those charts they show you in a TA textbook.
