hey come on give eqtTrdr some credit, this is like the only time in the past 1 year and 1/2 he posted something other than "No Fear All aboard"
Equity ... TY more bearish sentiment right here is perfect. I just remembered posting this a few weeks ago: September 20 midweek update I posted this on the Elite Traders board this morning: 09-20-05 11:32 AM I can count 5 waves down from the 2186 high in the COMPX: 1...2164 2...2172 3...2143 4...2161 5...2140 The rally late yesterday/today brings us right into the previous wave 4, and about a 50% retracement of the entire decline. Remember we had a triple top at 2186 (the high), and then Six attempts to break thru 2172 (wave 2) in three hours. I see 4 attempts already to break thru 2162, between 10:15 and 10:45, this morning. It's FED day so it should be interesting. We stopped right at 2163 this morning! Guess after a pullback from here into the mid-low 2140's. We should make an assault on 2186....... YES? tony
Last thursday morning @ 6AM I posted here that the market, especially the COMPX, appeared ready to take off: Wave 2 had just completed and we were ready for wave 3 to the upside. Well I've just seen an identical double flat structure form, during all of but 15 minutes of todays action. Looks like wave three is subdividing now. If it is the case, tomorrow could be explosive. I've been looking to add onto my QQQQ position on a pullback to the 2140 - 2145 area. Not so sure that is going to happen now. The opening tomorrow should be the key. For more details, and charts, see my blog. Best to your day! http://spaces.msn.com/members/caldaroEW/
Added my count to your chart. Three major waves up into 02/04 Wave four bottom 08/04 Now in wave five, and subdividing. Check DJIA 1932 - 1937 ... extended 5th wave coming out of a supercycle completion. thanks tony
Hi! That was a good call! Just before the market broke I was wrong! Was expecting a big move, but the S&P and DOW didn't want any part of it. The Naz rallied, but can't go very far without them. Surprised at the big break. But if the market can hold here, the rally still has a chance. Still bullish! tony
