I've got to admit, I'm getting the urge to build a kick ass machine. My Dell 9150 is still going strong but all this talk of 10k RPM HD and 1333Mhz FSB makes me think I can build a screamer. Quick someone show me another BSOD so I can fight the temptation.

I called what New York Magazince rated as "the best computer repair shop in NYC", described the components to them and asked what they would charge to put it together. They quoted me $ 250 total, said it would take about a day... so very reasonable I thought... I see no reason why I would not let the pros handle this.... time is valuable, and they test it before they give it to you. I might just duplicate your rig exactly- thanks for the information and research!
You don't have to play games to enjoy a kick ass machine. Just watching Google Earth fly through your screen can bring tears to your eyes.
