It was union states that voted to abolish slavery,confederate states fought a war to keep slavery. It was union states that voted for the 14th and 15th amendments.It was also the union states that voted for the civil rights act.The confederate states were against it all.Today the republican party represents the confederate states

 

Liberals like blacks for their votes. Nothing more.
It couldn't be any more obvious.
