If I mark in my settings that I don't want to show my online status it is not working as I still appears. I say in privacy: don't show and used the same settings in preferences as the same question pops up there again: And this is what happens, I still appear:
It shows to you, but not to anyone else. Not really a bug. You can verify this for yourself by opening another browser in which you're not logged in, and comparing the two: in one you'll appear to be here and visible (to yourself only); in the other (which is, effectively, what everyone else sees, because they're not logged in as "schweiz") it won't show that you're online.
