    Correct......two diffrent swords and also, Vic has outperformend buffet this year, i dont have last years numbers for him.

    Vic did blow out using naked options a while back.

    Buffet is an investor looking at the markets as a "value" player.
    Niederhoffer is a "trader".

    Buffet is a billionaire from his market exploits, "NV" blew up his fund at the expense of his investors. No rocket science needed in this debate...

    LOL thats what Im thinking, whats the controversy here.

    Enough with the jealousy. Yeah Im jealous of Buffet's riches and I would have 100x more fun with his money. But the man got skills and is a consistent performer.

    To sell insurance, you want people to have fear. To be a vulture and get people to sell you things cheap, you want people to have fear. Buffett preaches fear, he is a very shrewd man and he knows that his words effect the markets.

    Yep, from buying their stocks low and selling them high. He just buys enough shares to also have a say in their operations. But any way you slice it, its his investing that made him a billionaire.
