Buffalo Shooter Isn't a 'Lone Wolf.' He's a Mainstream Republican

  1. Maybe, but then I would ask why don't we hear much about the actual prevention of a mass shooting/killing? One would think law enforcement would be touting their efforts when they stop one before it happens. Parkland, Orlando, Virgina Tech, Boston, etc. etc. There are probably hundreds of lunatics planning something, but most probably just give it up as they think it through. It just seems to me that when they have these guys in custody, and then on the radar something is preventing law enforcement from following through to the next step which would be prevention.

Philip Bump: “Deny, deny, deny. Lump the media in with critics on the left. Never acknowledge that you erred but, instead, argue that you are being unfairly accused of having erred because of bias. By now, it’s rote — even when the question is whether you stand by an argument that was allegedly deployed by a man accused of killing 10 people at a grocery store.”

“In 2016, Trump ran in explicit opposition to immigration, even at one point making an argument that the Democrats wanted to bring in uncountable numbers of immigrants who would vote for their party. He refused to admit his errors or his lies. And then he won. And then he retained enormous popularity with the base.”

    “And lessons were imparted.”

  10. if the right and left can put.away their bullshit it would be real easy to.form a bipartisan committee and investigate the past 20 mass shootings and develop lessons learned to find patterns or.loopholes in how police and parents miss signals of fucktardedness or how one like that gets their hand on a weapon....then we can come up withan unbiased or non political solution.
