We are already in recession. These CPI numbers are an absolute and utter joke. If the true CPI rate was taken into consideration, it would be shown that we have been in and out of recession many times since the early 1990's (when they changed the calculations). The government calls it hedonic regression ---it is no secret. Luckily a private company has started to calculate real inflation: www.shadowstats.com They calculate the inflation rate at ABOVE 10% right now.

This is some funny stuff! This reminds me of the idea an idiot student had for saving the wolf in Alaska and for justifying the use of hunting wolves from helicopers: "Well, first you have to kill lots of wolves, take the wolf population down alot.
