No Maverick...YOU need and the other parrots need to do your research, cause all you guys seem to be able to do is quote me the The National Journal ratings.

I, on the other hand, have actually checked Obama's voting record, and I see nothing ultra-liberal about it.

Once again, what we have here is a case of "Maybe if I repeat a charge enough times, it will magically become true."

    It won't.

Huh? Are you serious? I can cite you 20 studies, some of them by liberal sources that rank Obama anywhere from the most liberal to in the top 10. I'm not trying to repeat anything. If you checked out his views at ontheissues.org and you don't see him as a liberal, I really don't know what to tell you. What issue from that site did you "NOT" find him liberal on?

You need to calm down. Personally I have nothing against Obama the man, just his voting record. As a trader, I find concern that he plans to eliminate 1256, the 60/40 tax status for futures traders, raise taxes on capital gains from 15% to 28% and remove the cap on self employment taxes from 105k to infinity.

I think you've had enough Kool Aid for one night Saxon.

    Maverick,

I'd have an easier time taking you seriously as a trader if you didn't have this mindset that so many on ET have that "It MUST be true. Everybody says so...".

Try thinking for yourself. It will really help your trading.

    Excellent point, bigarrow!

Yeah...sorry I got sucked into the liberal vs. conservative thing, since I don't consider myself either of those as they are popularly construed.

  5. obama is for socialized medicine, gun control, high taxes on the "rich", illegal wars(pakisan... and voted to fund iraq), and open borders along with a national ID.

call it what you like but that is globalist. and the definition of a globalist one could say is "anti-constitutionalist."

Saxon I could give a rat's f*ck if you take me serious as a trader. I'll put my p&l against yours anyday. And don't pretend to know what my mindset is. I have also taken the time to see where Obama is on the issues and there is nothing remotely moderate about him. He is a far left liberal. Not a communist. But a far left liberal. I don't care what everybody says about him. The media has propped him up as a celebrity and you seem to have been taken in by his "hope and change" speech. It's as if you have never seen a previous election before Saxon. Everyone from FDR to Bush made the same bullshit claim. They were all about hope and change. Stop drinking the Kool Aid.

What's wrong Saxon? You have nothing to say about your boy Obama? Come on bro, that's all you've got? Why don't you name one thing he has done since he has been in office. Just ONE. Step up to the plate big guy, I'm lobbing you a pitch right down the middle for ya. You're on the clock.
