20 per arm. I'm 6'5", 230 lbs and 67 years old. I'm long past setting records, just doing the best I can at this stage of the game.
The heavy bag was obviously his laundry. The video of his side kicks and the laundry bag were him working out at his home in the black and white footage. You're delusional.
You will definitely improve in arm strength/stabilizers. Who cares what weight you can get up. There seems to be some misunderstanding that claims I can do this with 75lbs. or or you need to do that to get a benefit. It is a static lift hold. Logical discussion has gone out of this thread.
You said the bag 300 lbs. No one claimed the bag was 300 lbs. I am delusional because I say the bag was not 300 lbs. Dude...are you feeling ok tonight? Where did you get 300 lbs.?
It's all over the internet... the only thing that isn't is his actual lifts. https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&q=bruce+lee+300+pound+heavy+bag You've watched the video of him hitting the white heavy bag... that is Bruce working out at his home in LA. Did you even watch the video? The side kicks on the same bag?
That is not a 300 lb heavy bag. I don't see one link on the internet that claims that is a 300 lb. heavy bag. Anyone who sees it knows it is not a 300 lb. heavy bag. He never claimed to workout with a 300lb heavy bag. You been duped. I have seen quotes about that but they have been debunked. You have to separate the bullshit from the reality.
Logical discussion has gone out of this thread. This is ET, so...LOL. Not part of your debate, just was curious what I could do. I'm trying to refrain from these food fights, just to difficult to communicate without misunderstandings on a message board. I do like the exercise though and I do think it will help add to some strength for me.
No legit heavy bag deforms like this when it's hit. He's a joke. And this is Lee at his home in LA. Laughable form for a striker. Like embarrassing.
Chuck Norris - "Lee, pound for pound, might well have been one of the strongest men in the world, and certainly one of the quickest". Joe Lewis - "Bruce was incredibly strong for his size. He could take a 75lb barbell and from a standing position with the barbell held flush against his chest, he could slowly stick his arms out, lock them and hold the barbell there for 20 seconds, that's pretty damn tough for a guy who at the time only weighed 138lbs. I know 200lb weight lifters who can't do that."
