40lbs wow. Not remotely comparable. It's analogous to a static mil-press vs. a C&J. I've already stated that elite oly lifters can jerk (C&J) >2x what they can mil-press (or more). Your front raise example is laughable; swinging a weight to chest-height with no pause at the top. You're a pear-shaped dude that uses machines. I don't expect you to comprehend the difference.
So I was curious. I just held 20lbs. dumbbell for a 5 count and it took all I had, not that I'm anyone to measure strength against. Your debate sparked my interest is all. Carry on.
The guy was lifting multiple reps of 40lbs. I don't doubt he could hold 2 35 lb. dumbbells up or press them out and hold. Even Captain did it with 20 lb.s and he has not trained at it for 7 years like Bruce did. Why is it so hard to believe?
Train at it for 5 years and see where you come to. Or just do it 3x a week using the 20lbs. and come back and tell us in 6 to 8 weeks what you get up to.
I may be dead in 5 years, LOL, but I think I will do this for a few weeks just to see what improvement I can make. I seriously doubt I could do 30 though, even with some work at it. It's tough as hell.
40lbs total (20 per arm)? Height & weight? And don't waste your time on this absurdity. The only pics of the dude lifting are him curling 90lbs on a straight bar.
That bag was not filled to 300lbs. that bag is at his house. Who told you that bag was 300 lbs. Also, the video you show is using clips from his movies to disect his fighting skills. You realize that is a movie....This thread is about his physical strength and abilities not about whether he really kicked people's ass in the movies. Movies are not real....
