He's on his knuckles and there is no proof he pressed or jerked that weight. Not that it would matter lol. It's not a lot of weight. He looked like he was going to fall over curling 90lbs. And also no video of the completed movement. Yet he can hold an extended front raise with 75. I could do one handed pushups into my 40s (under 215lbs). Riiiight.
This guy is demonstrating easily with two 20 lbs. dumbbells and he is not a huge guy. Are you saying no way he could do the same exercise with two 35 lb. dumbbells? He was lifting the 20s pretty easily.
You're becoming an idiot. Pick up 75lbs on a bar and hold it at your waist. Now, bring the weight forward until it's perpendicular to your body/torso... AND HOLD THE WEIGHT THERE FOR 5 SECONDS.
Who in their right mind thinks that I can do it? I cannot bench 300 lbs either so it must mean you cannot bench 300 lbs. Your logic is that I cannot hold a 75 lb. barbell out straight so Bruce Lee must not have been able to do it. I just should you a video of a random guy doing front lateral raises easily with 20 lb. dumbbells, he could easily do 2-3 reps or hold with 35 lb. dumbbells.
I am stating that there is a tremendous difference between doing the front raise movement (no pause) and a static front raise. It's not remotely comparable. Yeah, I can swing a front raise with well over 100lbs and it's as meaningless as your drivel that a front raise is the same as a static lift that is held at the top for n-seconds. Yeah, the guy could a fuck ton of pushups. The two finger thing is more a hand-strength issue, but hella impressive hand strength. All that I can find are a bunch of (the same) pics of him curling 90lbs lol.
And the people said he held it at his chest like a after you clean lift and pressed it out, not a lateral raise. He just pressed it out and held it for a few seconds.
Who cares if I can do it??? What does it prove if I cannot do it. If that guy in the video can lateral front raise 40lbs. I am sure he can take a barbell from his chest and press it out and hold for 3 seconds.
Fine, held to the chest and pressed to full extension. BULLSHIT. No way that Lee could even maintain 90-degrees to extension; let alone hold it there. Anyone who ican lift serious weight knows this. As stated; the only pics of him lifting are a joke. At least he could have had some spotters make it look good.
