Where did I confuse movie with reality. Everything about him I posted is about him not a character he played. I never said he could beat Ali and Bruce said he would get killed. The one inch punch was never discussed here and I dont care about it. Him being arrogant is like saying the sky is blue...but he was friendly with all the crew and staff of his movies and was always generous with his time. Arrogance was part of his persona. Same with Steve McQueen (who seemed like an ass) and James Coburn.
Extradited for street fighting. Sent abroad because he was being bullied. You guys are hilarious. Carry on.
In the 60s and 70s no martial artist was fighting and taking on challengers so it is a fantasy to say who would beat who. No one cares. Like who would win in a battle between Bruce Lee and Darth Vader.
I wish you could self moderate haha. Will start focusing on his arm workouts so will keep that going tonight.
The term Kung Fu has begun to be used loosely to refer to Chinese martial arts but all it really means is skill level. A chef has culinary kung fu, a musician had musical kung fu etc..
You don´t set up a pissing contest ? After claiming a foot slightly above the ground from your boyfriend, who at that invented modern sparring, could have killed his opponent, now you compare him to 3 of the most famous boxing world champions, while all he won were mostly staged fights in front of cameras. I suggest you take his dick out of your ass and regain some critical thinking.
About Chuck Norris, I probably haven´t looked into him for decades but remember he was said to be multiple times karate world champion. I assumed it was Kyokushin as it is basically the most famous form of karate, (and those guys look tough as nails), but apparently not. Anyone know if all those belts were mostly honorary ? From his wikipedia page : Norris has received many black belts. These include a 10th degree black belt in Chun Kuk Do, a 9th degree black belt in Tang Soo Do, an 8th degree black belt in Taekwondo, a 5th degree black belt in Karate, a 3rd degree black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu from the Machado family, and a black belt in Judo.[96] No idea about Chun Kuk Do and Tang soo Do, but one would have to be a hell of a martial artist to deserve the following together (afaik in tkdo one would need a whole career of competing and training high level athletes to get close to 8th dan, which seems unlikely for Chuck Norris).
Watch Bruce on the "heavy" bag in this video. The kicks and the one inch punch. He wasn't even skilled. The dude was comical. I won't post again to this thread. Oh yeah, the heavy bag is 300lbs and filled with metal! Such skill on the heavy bag. He throws like my 12yo. He WAS fit, tho. Joe Rogan... A real side kick and far more (turning) difficult.
