  1. Oh yes, when the republicans ruled the land under Bush, they were all about putting power back in the hands of the people, protecting their privacy, reducing power of government...

    ROTFLMAO...

You flipped a coin but you don't have any cents (sp).

The idea is that neither party should have so much power. Having 51 or 53 senators in your corner feels very different from having 61 senators to your beck and call because they fear you. Our Government should be better balanced. Decisions should encompass a whole lot more consensus amongst our elected respresentatives. Or else, bad things happen to good people. :(

He never had more than a thin majority in Congress, and that was good.

  8. ...another womanly teenage girl reaction.

Oh well, try to hysterically tell someone off and then claim you are going to ignore them...

Why would you think I would care that you would ignore me or anyone else for that matter?

Oh...you are not reading this, since you have me on ignore.

    LOL!!!

  9. ...and during that time of "thin" majority how often did the republican congress not simply rubber stamp the Bush agenda?

Republicans have no real mavericks, except for perhaps Ron Paul...

Well, lets see now. Bush let ted Kennedy WRITE the education bill. And how many Dems voted to invade Iraq? Oh yea, they were "misled".

Face it, The Bush adminstration was way more bipartisan than Obama has been. Thank God, most American voters have a pretty good sense of what's fair and sent a message to ObamaPeolsi that enough is enough.

PS: Be sure and double up on your meds. :D
