  1. Good Morning Laissez Faire,

Correct. Win-Win situation to be a Trading Seller Vendor. Seems likes Brooks is the only profitable winner.

@padutrader you are very kind man to follow another man for 15 years with $0.00 to show for it. You are a very nice and gentleman. That could never in a millions years be me.

Because some traders really really really really really belive the harder they work the more profitable trader they may be, After they buy trading course. Lol.

  2. @padutrader find a new trading teacher. It is very clear Brooks teaching is not working for you buddy.

    Why keep struggling in life?

This time, ask for trading performance before investing your time and energy in the Teacher.

  3. It has been a busy night. The market is about to open and I am done trading but will
monitor the open to see how it does

The chart shows a condition that I see periodically. Older traders who have been at
this a while know it as "Stealing the Trade" (where the bulk of the action occurs in
the overnight market then the US open tends to settle into a Trading Range)

We'll see now whether that is the case today

  8. This will be my final example today, as I need to sleep
I think the concept of Price Action is basically valid however
if one wants to BE a professional, they will have to (at some point)
make a decision, whether to color inside the lines or think outside
the box. I notice folks making glib remarks about Brooks making money
as a vendor without having to be "at risk". I think the truth is much
different. In my opinion, Dr. Brooks proved himself long ago to be a skilled
observer and author. Whether his students can make his approach work
simply illustrates the point I try to make all the time. There is a mental
aspect of this profession that is just as important as the technique.
It is similar to professional sports, where highly skilled players all
complete for the prize, and the way they do it is to practice BOTH the
physical and mental skills during the week, putting it on the line
on Sunday (if we use US football as an example)

Here is an example based on "context". In the overnight market
Computers look for high probability opportunities. As the Econ
Reports are released, they monitor for specific words and then
they execute. In this instance what you see is risk reduction
and profit taking by the big institutions. I can assure you that skilled
folks anticipate this as it occurs on a regular basis.
